Job Description

"• Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars for graduate and postgraduate students in Plant pathology and mycology, Plant disease management, Revegetation of impacted environment, Remediation of contaminated ecosystems, Environmental monitoring using plants and Environmental impact assessment. • Adapting and Developing curricula, course materials and teaching methods to meet the interest and learning styles of students • Improving teaching methods and expanding knowledge base by collaborating with other academics and lecturers. • Supervising graduate and post graduate students, assigning and grading various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, essays and examinations • Conducting research, writing papers, proposals, journal articles, and books. • Attending and participating in meetings, conferences, and other events in and outside of the university. • Participating in training opportunities and initiatives at the University. • Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and career paths • Providing support to students and other colleagues. • Staying current by reading widely and producing published work in my area of specialization. • consulting with other academics and professionals and the industries. • Establishing and enforcing rules of behavior for students in the lecture halls "
