Job Description

Teach pharmacology to undergraduate medical, nursing, dentistry, anatomy, physiology students, postgraduate pharmacology students, supervise research by both category of students and function as Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Development.

Grants

1. NDDC Malaria Eradication and Phytomedicine grant 50,000,000/year for 2 years, 2016–2018, as Director of the Centre for Malaria Research and Phytomedicine.


2. TETFund Institution-Based Research Grant (TETF/UPH/IBR/2019/7/011) for “feasibility and durability of dietary intervention in achieving remission of type 2 diabetes mellitus in Rivers State, Nigeria.”) as Principal Investigator valued at N1,928,000.


3. TETFund Institution-Based Research Grant (TETF/UPH/IBR/2019/7/010) for “a study on the nasal decongestant effects of Vitellaria paradoxica (shea butter) extracts” as co-investigator valued at 1,880,000.
