*Award for Professor Bourdillon O. Omije*
Professor Bourdilon O. Omije won a 114,000 euros grant award ( EU- ERASMUS PROJECT)* for the University last year, September to establish an MSc in embedded Artificial Intelligence in center for information and telecommunication (CITE). I was also appointed by our European union (EU) partner to be the national coordinator of the project among the 5 Nigerian universities involved.
1. The fund will be received in February, 2023 by Uniport.
2. The kick off meeting will take place next month, Feb, 2023.

University of Port Harcourt has been selected to host the international kick off meeting which involves 5 Nigerian universities and 3 foreign ( European) Universities. Sir, this will be very laudable for uniport. Meaning 8 VCs with their representatives will be present. I thank GOD greatly for this honour on Uniport and your administration.
